This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Nobody can beat my students! They are an extremely diverse group of amazing people. They are inquisitive and hunger for knowledge. We are hoping that you can help us to better their educational possibilities in these difficult times.

My middle school students deserve the same opportunities as other children, and this project will absolutely help us toward that goal.

My Project

Many of my students have not had the opportunity to peruse newspapers in their daily lives, I would love to give them the opportunity to broaden their horizons by introducing Scholastic Scope into our classroom.

Scholastic Scope will allow my students to further their understanding of world topics and introduce them to issues people face worldwide.

Scope will introduce them to topics that are current and allow my students to actively engage in said topics through written expression.

Additionally, the introduction of the magazine will increase their reading comprehension skills; thereby, helping them in all of their subjects and better preparing them for high school.
