My 3rd grade class is from central Indiana. They are a beautiful mix of cultures from all over the world. Each child has diverse learning goals so it important for me to expose each student to a safe classroom environment not only where he/she can come to share his/her ideas but also learn in various ways.
My students thrive on doing engaging lessons that make learning fun and exciting.
This will have a positive impact on their classroom experience by letting them experience the Indiana State Standards in the most enjoyable way possible. I want to provide my students with the best educational year.
My Project
My students thrive on creativity and hands on learning. By reading "The Wild Card" I will be able to gather ideas to help my students be the best they can be. I will be able to deliver my instruction in the most creative and authentic way possible so that my students will remember what they have learned forever.
I want to transforming my room into a "Construction Zone" where students will have the opportunity to work on reading comprehension skills at differentiated levels while having fun.
By helping us transform our room you will help students become engaged and take ownership in their learning. My room will be decorated with black table cloths, and caution tape. All students will have the opportunity to wear construction hats and vests while practicing reading comprehension which can be a tedious skill for some. My kids will have the opportunity to learn in authentic and hands on way.
