My Students

My 7th and 8th graders are the best students in the world. They are bright, curious, and full of energy. They love to learn, and they love to complete assignments using their computers.

Recently my students came to me with a request for new keyboards and mice.

They reminded me that it is very difficult to create, craft, and compose with damaged wires on the keyboards, broken and missing keys, and mice that will not work. I agreed. I hope you will too.

My Project

My wonderful students NEED YOUR HELP in securing NEW keyboards and mice for our computer lab ELA classroom. Our classroom is equipped with computers, but they are in a very used condition. The fact is, most of our keyboards are either broken in some way or are missing keys and have frayed or broken wires. Many of our mice are simply not usable.

You can imagine the amount of frustration the students face when keyboards and mice fail during required ELA online assignments and special student-led and student-created projects that require technology to be in tip-top shape.

Your donation will help the students achieve success in their learning and will give them the opportunity to remain focused, to stay on task, and to be able to connect via technology to learning that will help them NOW and in the future.
