The students that come to experience music in my classroom are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and love learning. They are excited about music and are full of energy just waiting to be transferred to instruments.
My students are excited about learning, but just need the materials in order to do so effectively.
My students generally have very supportive and involved parents. I would love to be able to give my students a chance to showcase their talents to their parents.
My Project
Currently my 3rd through 5th grade general music students are limited to using their bodies to experience music (singing, clapping, etc.). It is my hope to give my students an opportunity to explore different avenues for expressing themselves musically. By donating to supply my students with ukuleles, you will be helping to give each student a better and more well-rounded music education.

I anticipate these instruments helping my students to be more engaged and excited about experiencing music in these new and exciting avenues. I would love to have the opportunity to teach music in a variety of different ways, and by getting a classroom set of ukuleles, that provides another way that I can enhance my students' music education.
