My Students

My students are inquisitive and hungry for knowledge at all times. They commonly go out of their way to make sure that they are getting as much education as they can and not letting me off the hook until they know I've given them everything I have. My students also love to have an instrument in their hands from the first moment of class until the last. Whenever I incorporate music into a lesson the students are grateful and focused even more than they normally are.

My Project

Having ukuleles in the classroom is an amazing way for me to engage students in class, connect with them through music and to give them the confidence to be creative in their life. Having an instrument in each student's hand always increases the student attention level to the lesson. It's an easy way for me to engage them in the lesson from the first moment. Connecting with students through music is also a great and easy way for me to keep them on task and inquisitive. They often end up taking great joy in showing me something new. This helps keep the class as a two-way educational street.
