Help me give my students a quality ukulele and picks to use for solo performances.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
The school I teach in is quite special, as we are the first Expeditionary Learning School in our state! This learning model is more hands-on, more real world, and more student led. We focus on academics AND character building. It is an exciting model that we're all quite proud to be a part of!
I may be biased, but my students are the best in the world!
They are curious, exciting, musical, thoughtful, loving, and all around good kids. They come from various backgrounds and homes, but we work together so well. We are a CREW through and through!
Students absolutely love coming to music class! I see each class every three days and they make sure to tell me in the hallway, "We have music today Ms. Ashley!" with the most exciting look on their faces. It's an amazing feeling to see them enjoy the art of music so much.
As we continue to learn to play ukulele in our music classroom, several students are rising above and beyond expectations! Students are wanting to perform solos on ukulele to classmates, in our music programs, and even out in public. Our school ukuleles are not a top brand and do not always sound as good as we would like.
A new Fender ukulele would allow students to have a quality instrument to perform their solos on.
A quality instrument will also give them the confidence in their sound and abilities to go out and play in front of people more often! With this ukulele and additional picks, my students are sure to thrive!
