My Students
Students at BES are the powerhouse of tomorrow. Students have a real thirst for learning, they're familiar with overcoming obstacles, and determination is their love language. These students come from many diverse backgrounds with an overwhelming population of English language learners. In addition, we are a Title I school. Our students, more than half of whom receive reduced-price or free lunch, are resilient, kind-hearted, and spirited.
Where students may lack opportunity at home, they will find it at our school.
Our students are eager to play, learn, and grow. It is our joy to provide these learning opportunities and experiences for students, their families, and our community.
My Project
A fully supplied classroom is a fully engaged classroom! Students have just a few months of school left! At a time when reinforcement and engagement is most important, my students' basic school supplies have run out. So, how can a resupply of Post-It easel paper and dry-erase markers make all the difference? Step into our classroom!
Expo markers squeaking, pencils sketching, students sharing, and poster posting: these are the sounds of an engaged classroom!
Students are vested in lessons because they are interacting with the materials. Support our families and our classroom by providing a much-needed and appreciated resupply of our classroom basics.
