Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The fun thing about teaching is everyday is different. Every student is different and though they may be taught the same material, each of them take it in differently. Like most people, having variety or choice makes things better like music, ice cream and movies.
The differences the students bring develop a sense of community in our classroom.
The various personalities and backgrounds make teaching worth every minute. They each bring a different aspect and their own individuality to the classroom.
My Project
I have several students that suffer from fine motor issues. I am asking if you could please provide a helpful way for them to write in comfort. The TWIST AND WRITE PENAGAIN pencils helps them write legibly. For example, one of my student writes with scattered words all over his paper. After he used the Twist and write pencil, he was able to keep a steady hand and stay on the lines to write.
Our hands need the help with these pencils but our bottoms need some comfort as well.
We like to sit on the floor for circle time and story time but are in need of a comfy rug to help us with comfort.
