My Students

My students are a diverse group and attend an inner-city school. We have almost four hundred students, and all of our students qualify for the free breakfast and lunch program.

Most of our students love learning through technology, but our school's technology is outdated, not kid-friendly, and doesn't allow students to spread out or work at a safe distance from their peers.

We have students of varying abilities. As a teacher, I have found that using technology makes it easier to reach every student in my classroom at their instructional level.

My Project

My students only have access to outdated desktop computers that are in my classroom. They are unable to use the computers at their desks or other areas where they can spread out and have their own space. With everything going on in the world, I want my students to be able to safely access the internet, websites, and conduct research.

Chromebooks will make learning exciting, fun, and SAFE for my students!

Having the ability to use Chromebooks at their desks, or other places in the classroom, will enable my students' learning to continue, ensure social distancing, and safety for all!
