Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious scientists and future problem solvers. They love to engage in science experiments and challenge themselves to answer questions about natural phenomena. I want to create a classroom space where they are able to focus on their work, develop their critical thinking skills, and continue to grow their science skills. However, the speakers in my classroom do not work, which limits what I can teach them and how they can engage in my classroom.

By donating to our project, you will help support all students, especially visual learners, as they immerse themselves in scientific experiences.

With this speaker, students will be able to focus on the information and skills they are learning - not straining their ears to hear the information in our science videos. Instead of just describing how a volcano erupts, I'll be able to show them videos that let them hear the loud roar of lava exploding out of a volcanic crater. Thank you for supporting my classroom and my amazing students!
