Help me give my students tables for our classroom that will allow them to better collaborate for STEM activities, science labs, book club discussions, and other group work scenarios!
My students are bright scientists, mathematicians, and engineers who are creative, curious, and always excited to learn. In my classroom students are exposed to different strategies that cater to the needs of the variety of learners I have. However, they thrive in learning experiences that are hands-on and challenging.
What I love most about my students is their inquisitive nature and their ability to learn through self-discovery.
Through engaging activities, my students not only grow academically, but are immersed in a classroom community that aids in the development of collaboration. I love seeing first-hand how hardworking these children are when they are provided with opportunities to work together and bounce ideas off of each other through meaningful discussions.
My Project
Giving my students a classroom of dry-erase tables would encourage group participation and teach cooperation skills. Tables lend themselves to working in teams, which is how the majority of our assignments in class are carried out. This includes labs, discussions, role-playing, STEM activities, and more. The dry-erase aspect of the tables will allow students to show their work and brainstorm ideas in a highly effective and engaging way.
This furniture will undoubtedly cause a positive shift in our classroom environment and help us continue on our path to creating a 21st century classroom.
