My Students

I teach 6th grade ELA and I have classes full of literary minds that share the joy of reading and exploring. I want to create an area that is inviting for my students to read! I love their drive and the abilities they possess that makes teaching them so much fun and adventurous.

My Project

I am teaching my students to be better writers as we enter into our second semester of 6th grade. The use of whiteboards can be an almost daily activity in my classroom, especially in ELA. Using the whiteboards offers another avenue for students to display their writing skills in small groups settings. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Donating to this project will help improve and increase student participation and focus. The 6 cube storage bin will be a great use in the classroom for much needed storage for ELA supplies.
