This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an amazing class full of little learners. We are developing a lifelong love of learning and habits that will last for the rest of our lives. We are a class of 24 learners from low-income homes. We work hard and encourage each other. Our curriculum consists of a lot of social skills and problem-solving.

My students are future leaders who change the world for the better.

They are learning how to get along and how to work with others. They are learning to solve problems through group work and strategies. They are overcoming very tough situations, working hard and becoming great students.

My Project

Students spend most of their school days listening to teachers lecture. A portable speaker can make sure students can hear. Students enjoy hearing songs and can learn and retain new skills through music, technology and intentional listening.

Music and technology are excellent teaching sources.

All subject matters are available and students enjoy learning through music. Subjects that can be intimidating for young students, can be comfortably introduced with music. Technology can be used to find resources in all subjects.

A speaker can also be used to listen to stories and make stories come alive. Background sounds add to the setting of stories and voices can change a character from a scary monster to a cute puppy.
