My Students
My third grade class is comprised of 21 amazing little scholars. They are creative, active, and motivated to learn and empower themselves and their community. All of my students are from inner city Rochester and receive free lunches based on household income. Our school is a neighborhood school and the community and families are very supportive and involved, but monetary donations and providing supplies for students is difficult for most families. Your support would help our students thrive and grow as third grade scholars.
My Project
As technology becomes more prevalent in Education today, it is essential that we have all the tools and resources that we need in order to utilize the technology to it's maximum potential.
Headphones are one of those important resources that are vital for our success with our technology.
The use of headphones allows multiple students to work on technology at the same time without causing distractions to other students. Headphones also keep students on the computer on task and it keeps our work our own. We use technology daily and having new headphones would be a great asset to our learning community.
