Tuning In To Literacy

Help me give my students some screen free fun while gaining literacy skills. The Toniebox will help the children in my classroom practice and gain important literacy skills like reading comprehension, word matching, listening skills, and much more!

My Project

We are a headstart classroom with students aging from 3-5 years old and all from low income households. I would like to incorporate The Toniebox as a tool and fun way for them to increase their literacy skills. The tonie box is an easy to use speaker system that plays stories and music. With this system, students will be able to listen to stories while reading books. This will can be done in pairs, one-on-ones, or in small groups. The students will use this exciting tool to practice reading comprehension, letter identification, word identification, letter sounds, reading directionality, and so much more. The Toniebox system, along with teacher direction and activities, will help my students achieve the literacy skills they will need be school ready!
