Tuners for a Teacher's Sanity

Help me give my students Tuners to allow them to see when they're out of tune and connect that to what they hear. The difference between a good MS band/orchestra a great MS band/orchestra is tuning.

My Students

Band and Orchestra students around the country are among the hardest working students in public education and my students are the epitome of this general rule. They have made a choice to be a part of something bigger than just themselves. They have chosen to create with their peers. They have chosen to embrace their vulnerability and grow from it.

Every Band and orchestra teacher believes they have the best students in the world, but in my case, it's true.

My Project

The difference between a good middle school band or orchestra and a great middle school band or orchestra is wow well they play in tune with each other.

"Close enough" just isn't true when it comes to music.

SP-2 Plus Instrument Tuners allow students to visualize how they can manipulate the pitch of their instruments their ears become more actively engaged as well and they can begin to "tune on the fly."

If students can learn at the middle school level what they're supposed to sound like they can progress further in the high school setting which will better prepare them for college playing.
