Teaching math is a been a passion for me since I started teaching 17 years ago. I still find it rewarding, because it offers challenges to steer the students to become their best at critical thinking.
My students are very much tactile learners, because I believe math should be a hands-on experience for them.
This keeps them challenged and engaged for the entire period. When they enter the classroom they are eager to learn and ready to work hard.
I want the best for my students because they are kindhearted and are going places in their lives. I just want to make sure that I am contributing a big part to their success. I feel my students deserve the best.
I assign activities on Google Classroom that the students get to work on when they have completed their classroom work. The activities will challenge them with the standard I am teaching at the time.
I wanted to set aside an area for them to sit and work on these activities without disturbing the other students.
I already have the shelving to block the area off. I am just in need of the seating and rug. It would offer the peace and quiet the student would need for concentrating on challenging work. It could also be used as a reward area.
