My Students

My students work together to create musical experiences that are challenging and rewarding. Young students in grades 5-8 choose an instrument and develop their musicianship.

Many students seek additional opportunities in order to challenge themselves while developing their skills, including learning new instruments.

They know that with each new goal, it's not hard, it's just new. And when the smallest students choose the largest instruments, watch out! They demonstrate the most determination and perseverance, and achieve their goals. And the students who dream about playing the tuba are going to be leaders in the band!

My Project

Our students seek opportunities to participate in music and enhance their playing. Full instrumentation at the younger levels is difficult due to the size of the large instruments in the hands of young students.

Adding a tuba stand to our program will assist young students and enable them to perform on tuba, increasing their participation and enhancing the entire ensemble.

The tuba stand chosen is durable, from a reputable manufacturer. And Woodwind/Brasswind backs all products sold through their company. This item would allow students to hold the tuba properly, so they can play. Thank you for taking the time to review this project!
