This year's big production will be here before we know it!
As a special education teacher, I believe that my students and many others need the spotlight to show their true talents. Previous years I have directed our musicals of The Wizard of Oz and Disney's Peter Pan Jr, this year our production will be Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr. Because I believe in EVERYONE being allowed to show their talents, we need some production room equipment so my students can use their crafting skills and creativity to take part in every aspect of the show... even creating and recreating props and sets!
Using a cricut to help create and recreate props, costumes and set items will help bring our production to life. Many of the cast members have disabilities and this play is a time for them to take their creative talents and bring them to life. We have had two previous productions where we saw the cast bring out talents that even their families did not know they had! This machine will help them do even more! This machine's power to create visual aids is out of this world! The different settings on the cricut can help bring our casts' living skills to life. While it will also be used in my special education classroom when we are not in play production to awaken living skills, create manipulatives, visual aids and accommodations for my students.
