I am new to my school and work in an ICT co-teaching classroom. The students in my class are at various levels of learning and succeed at various paces. My class includes students that receive special education services, students who are gifted and talented, students that are learning at grade level.
I have the privilege of working closely with other professionals that push into my classroom throughout the day.
These services include Occupational Therapy and Speech Services. I also have an opportunity to work with and learn from students who are from other countries and speak English as a second language. I appreciate the opportunity to work in a diverse classroom and make a difference in my student's learning experiences.
My Project
Technology is a crucial tool for students today! Most students can navigate through technology better than their teachers or parents can. It is important to be able to have access to these tools in order to guide learning to this generation of students. The ways in which the requested fifteen Fire tablets can be used to guide student-centered instruction are endless.
As a club, students will be able to use downloaded apps to compete in interactive trivia challenges.
These challenge topics will range from academic topics to pop culture trivia! Students will also have an opportunity to create their own trivia challenges for their classmates to compete against one another.
