Triton Greenhouse Comes to Life

My Students

Triton students come from a very diverse background both in ethnicity and family educational standards. I believe it is important to allow all my students a chance to see job options in the agricultural industry and let them make their own decision of what they want to do after graduation.

I try very hard to showcase various jobs in the industry.

I often take the them on field trips to see businesses as they would not likely get to see that on their own. I want them to see men and women working with similar backgrounds. I line up guest speakers to tell their story of why they are doing that job and how they got there so the students can see that these jobs are not unattainable.

My Project

By having a hydroponic system, our students, middle school age through high school, will get to be a part of a life process. They will plant seeds, nurture them, and give them life to become beautiful products.

We hope to grow products and produce that will benefit our communities.

We want to curate colorful flowers that can be used in mother's day bouquets and sold for profit, produce that students can have for healthy daytime snacks, and life skills that these students can take home to create their own gardens and live off the land.
