This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

They tripped over the technology table again. Time for a smaller technology cart.

Our school is one that has made a lot of progress towards creating life long learners and there is still a lot of hard work ahead of us.

My students have accepted the challenge of pushing themselves harder than they ever have and are starting to see the benefits of that hard work. I work in a school that is over 95% low income and Latino. Over 95% English Language Learners. Because of this, they are some of the hardest working students I have know.

My Project

With this technology cart, my students will have more room in the class to spread out and move around. The classroom technology is currently kept on a large bulky table that keeps students from spreading out in the classroom. This cart will streamline the projector, camera and laptop, as well as keep the cords from being spread out all over the floor.

Words can not describe the shift in my students and their desire to learn.

They have worked so hard this year to become more successful students. Donations to this project will show that their hard work is already paying off and people believe in their education. It will show my students that there are people who believe that they can become the next leaders of their communities, cities, states, and country. They can be successful if they continue to put effort into the hard work
