Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 4 years old, Spanish speakers, from low income families, receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many challenges they face, they are eager to learn and to do their best.
My little students love to move, play, create and talk about everything they do.
They like to explore new movements with their bodies while they play through games and sports.
They learn inside and outside the classroom. They need to exercise in different ways in order to explore their capabilities around the environment.
They need to build their muscles to develop their gross motor skills.
My Project
I am creating this project because all my students need to move and develop their muscles in order to have healthy bodies. These tricycles will help my students by improving their gross motor skills as well as their coordination skills.
I would like to give my students the opportunity to play with purpose, have fun, and exercise while they explore new movements through the tricycles.
By implementing the outside equipment for play time, children will have more options to choose toys when they are in the playground. I mentioned to them about the project we are creating. They will be so thankful and extremely happy if we complete it.
