Help me give my students some much needed tricycles. Our tricycles have been breaking apart and our students need them desperately to exercise and enjoy their time outdoors.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is made up of over 75% of English Language Learners and offers many special education classes such as special day classes, PALS, and autism classes. Our school has Extended Transitional Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and first through fifth grade.
Despite the various trauma from home that our students come to school with, they show up every morning with a smile on their face and a determination in their hearts.
We also have many students with learning disabilities; however, they come to school with the mentality that nothing can stop them from reaching their goals.
My Project
Our students' favorite recess and p.e. area has always been the tricycles. As they use them every day and the tricycles are outside in the elements, the poor things get pretty rundown. They are beginning to crack. A few have lost their pedals.
We use the tricycles to strengthen their motor skills and work on hand-eye coordination as they maneuver through our course with their favorite equipment.
With the school closures, we would love to open up with a wonderful surprise of new tricycles. Help us hopefully welcome back our students with these shiny new trikes!
