As a teacher in a Title I school, my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
They like to move, they love to read, and they love lots of positive attention.
From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth, educationally and mentally. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire our deserving learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
My kids do not have many privileges outside of my classroom. The new and most popular books are most of the time are out of their reach at home. When they come into my classroom, I want them to not only be excited about reading but to also be able to read the current top books for their age group.
Our kids are on top of all of the modern trends, so they should be able to read the top trending books as well!
The eight requested titles such as “Wonder” and the newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, “The Getaway”, are a few that I know my kids would love getting their noses into! My kids may not have much due to their economic standings, but with your help, they can read the newest and currently trending books.
