This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want to help my students learn the importance of trees. Humans and animals alike depend on trees to survive. With this project I will be able to teach children the parts of trees and the importance of trees in our community. The students will get to play with animals and people in the trees.

By bringing trees into our classroom I hope to enhance the children's vocabulary around the parts of the tree and the ways we use trees.

Through this project I hope to build a love of trees to last a lifetime.
