Treasure My Dual Language Learners' Experience!

My Students

My students come from varied backgrounds. Some of my students have the opportunity to see the world around them and visit many new and exciting places, and some of my students have not traveled outside of our town. No matter what their background, all of my students love learning, love school, and love each other.

My classroom is filled with future doctors, teachers, lawyers, and world changers.

My students are amazing, and I want to do anything I can to introduce them to more and more!

My Project

These treasure box materials will give us the opportunity to be rewarded for participating in class discussions, class assignments, and class activities. My first graders work really hard for classroom points, and they are rewarded for good behavior. They learn that good decisions pay off and that participating and working hard results in rewards. We are learning the basic concepts of economics because we are learning that effort and fortitude can result in a monetary (or treasured prize) benefit!

This project will make us TREASURE our classroom experience because it provides a motivating factor to keep us pushing forward towards our classroom goals and gives us a TREASURED result!

Help us learn the concepts of rewards and benefits resulting from hard work with this project. In addition, I included a small desk to use for our iPads. Please help us reach our goal!
