This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students all come from low income families and don't have many toys or yummy options for snacks. I work at a Title I school where all the students qualify for free lunch. I want to use my classroom treasure box to give them an opportunity to earn both toys and snacks. These items will motivate them to work hard and focus more on their learning. It's hard enough to keep third graders focused without incentives. They will sure enjoy these fidget toys, fun prizes and delicious snacks that they might not otherwise be able to afford.
