Kindergarteners are wonderful because they love everything. They are excited to come to school every day and learn something new. My students love learning, and my job is to keep that fire burning.
We live in a rural ranching community in Colorado where more than a third of students come from low income households.
Our school district, does not have the resources to purchase everything my kindergartners need. I want the best for my students, and I need your help!
My Project
Kindergarten is hard. The little boys and girls spend their whole day learning reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
My most important job, as a teacher, is to teach them to be good people.
When I see my students making good choices I write their name on a ticket and put it in the fishbowl. At the end of the day I pick two names out of the fishbowl. Those two kids get to pick a prize out of the treasure box.
Our treasure box is getting empty. We need new treasure box prizes. Thank you so much for making learning fun in our classroom!
