My classroom is filled with curious kindergartners who walk in my door every day ready to learn something new!
My school is known for its amazing community outreach. Breakfast is served daily free of charge for each student. Backpacks filled with food go home every Friday. We have clothes and school supplies for students in need. Our staff has created a safe learning environment for each student, and we hold each student to high expectations!
My Project
My students are always being asked to make good choices, study sight words at home, read at home, follow directions and do well on a variety of tests. I like to find small ways to motivate my students to do their very best. In my classroom, we talk about growth. We talk about improving and how to improve.
I want to reward my students with small treasure box items when they show improvement!
I have asked for a variety of small but motivating toys that my students can choose from when they move up a sight word list, turn in a reading log, or show growth on assessments! Students will love the rhinestone rings, foam gliders, or even the Playfoam. My class will go bananas over the poppers or the stretchy lizards and frogs!
I need your help filling my treasure box. I'm running out of the cool toys and with the end of the year testing coming up I want to surprise my kindergarteners and give them a little boost so they can show growth this year!
