My Students

Our students are outstanding young musicians with a passion for performing!

Our students sing and dance their way through the school day and some evening and weekends throughout the school year and for many, this is a reason and motivation to come to school.

This creative outlet brings focus and meaning to their lives when so much around them is uncertain. Our students come to us from a variety of backgrounds and many from a background where requires them to help provide for the home. Our students are amazing! They help provide for their families by taking care of younger siblings, nieces, and nephews, and elderly family members and many also have a part-time job (some working more than 20 hours a week while attending school) to help provide for their household.

My Project

Our students represent our school and community with dignity and class while performing around the Midwest. This project will provide our students with a top-notch piano which will highlight their very best as they travel and perform throughout our city, state, and surrounding areas.

We use pianos every day in our choir classroom and this piano would be no exception!

This piano would be used every day and used a tool to help over 400 students learn music and grow as human beings. The piano adds a beautiful texture to choral music and is a critical resource for beginning-level students.
