My classroom is very unique this year. We are all different pieces of a puzzle and put together, we are one. My scholars have respect for each other in class and outside of the class. They show respect to all teachers and the community by coming early in the morning to open doors to peers when parents are dropping their scholars off. They greet parents with a smile and support scholars who might need a extra hand with bringing supplies into school. They truly are remarkable and are the ambassadors of our school.
My students thrive on technology; many of them want to be scientists, computer engineers, nurses, doctors and teachers.
I want to help them achieve their dreams by providing support and keep their spark ignited for years to come.
In learning about history it is imperative to bring history to life. Having literature in the classroom that supports our lessons will truly provide a deeper understanding of history.
It is imperative that scholars know and understand history.
Providing literature in the classroom will showcase scholars understanding and engage scholars in great literature studies. My scholars love to learn about the past and I want to be able to provide them with the tools to enrich their learning. I love seeing my students light up when learning a specific part of history. Having the resources of books available to them will provide the additional support in leaning more.
