Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We, the players of Ms. K's class, will work hard to be the best team. We will complete our work, meet our AR goals, and have a lot of fun. - Student created mission statement.
My 18 new first grade students are full of energy and love learning new things every day.
Most of them come from a low income home where school is a safe place to spend their days. Each student is given a free breakfast every morning as well as free lunch.
My Project
This project will supply my students with costumes for two different room transformations which will provide memories that they will remember forever! The vests will transform the students into construction workers and the shirts will transform them into pirates.
I firmly believe that engagement is one of the most important parts of good instruction.
Room transformations provide instant engagement for kids! I want my students to be excited about learning and I always want them to wonder what will happen next inside our classroom!
The best thing is that these items in this project can be used for years to come. The shirts and vest will be used year after year, impacting hundred of students.
