This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Transformations Unit in Math II is a favorite unit because it requires color coding and the real world has soooo much of it included. This unit also allows us to be artists as art in embraced in this unit.

The faces students make when they realize that math transformations are in their every day lives are amazing!

From looking at their Reflection on a mirror to them moving around (Translation) to them Rotating their bodies around to them growing (Dilation) is the best way to teach students this unit.

Help me deliver this unit well by providing my students the colors they need and the graphs they won't have to draw so that they can focus on mastering the skills of reflecting, translating, rotating, and dilating pre-images.

The velcro will help keep their graphing calculators from falling off our tables and the tape will be used to decorate our agenda board.
