Help me give my students 5 5 Dell laptops and a cart to fill to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding in math and ELA, as well as going beyond the classroom to prepare for the future ahead!
The students in my classroom are very driven and motivated to use 21st Century skills and technology to read, research, and record their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. In a world where technology is apparent more than ever, my students love to take control of their learning in new and different ways. My students are curious about the world around them, and are willing to use their skills to come to their own conclusions. I love how their love of technology will help them grow in so many ways!
My Project
Transformation Through Technology will allow me to transform students lives through the use of technology in the classroom. My school has purchased cutting edge software programs that are research-based in all content areas.
Students need to access these programs daily to reap the benefits of challenge and practice that are embedded into the software.
The reality of what we face is that the lack of technology devices on our campus forces us to determine whose product and content area is more critical to student learning and achievement. Heavy, bulky carts loaded with student devices must then be pushed up and down hallways so that some students can gain access to the online learning.
This project would provide five more Dell laptops and another cart to fill, which would allow greater access and opportunity for 21st Century learning. Students will utilize technology in all content areas to learn with technology everyday and support the dynamic education being provided by teachers. Our school is high Title I and already had the largest growth in our state. Please help us to continue to transform our students' lives through technology!
