Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is on a Reserve Base. We serve the children of our men and women serving in the United States military from all branches. Our school has over 1000 children that come from diverse military families. Children move every few years and have to start a new school because of the military parents' duty station transfer.
At our school, teachers and staff members strive to provide the best possible education to the military children who have to endure a new home, new school, and new friends every few years.
The mission of our school is to educate our military-dependent children, no matter what their backgrounds or previous school experiences, to fully achieve their personal and academic potential through the acquisition of core knowledge and the skills of analysis, problem-solving, communication, and global responsibility.
My Project
Teachers spend hundredths of dollars each and every school year to create a magical enriching classroom for their students. I would love to create a one of kind relaxing beach theme classroom for my students to learn for years to come. I want to bring the beach into the classroom to make it a peaceful learning and tranquil room. I would love for my students to walk into their classroom for the first time and falls in love with it. They can enjoy their little piece of paradise. Having the Pacon PAC56715 Fadeless design roll; coastal Tropical beach backgrounds, a fully sand library area area with Fun Express Tropical Fish and Palm Trees decorations, and Flip Flop, Creative Press Ombre Turquoise Scallops Boarders will brighten up our classroom's bulletin boards to display work done by students. Teachers can teach and students are excited to learn with a classroom learning atmosphere that welcomes them each and every day of the school year, creates the start of a great school year in which students are eager and excited to come to school and learn and teachers are happy to teach in such a great classroom.
