My Students

My students come from a low-income area and the home situation is not always the best for a segment of our student population. But, that doesn't stop them. They impress me every day.

The students that I work with are students that thrive on working with their hands.

The traditional classroom just does not always work for some of them. Just sitting still is sometimes difficult. These students may not be able to show their knowledge on a written test but allow them to create something that interests them and they will blow your mind with the outcome.

My Project

The equipment, the agility ladder, and the Bulgarian Bag, will be used by three different teams in our school, The basketball team, wrestling team, and the football team will all use these two pieces of equipment.

Agility and strength both play a big part in a winning team.

If a team doesn't work hard their trophy case will be empty. Hard work and teamwork is what fills that trophy case and builds self-esteem in young people.

The agility ladder will be used to practice footwork and quickness and the Bulgarian Bag will be for strength and endurance.
