My Project

Team sports and athletics extend well beyond the whistle of game play. In order to best prepare our student-athletes to be successful and compete at a high level, we need to train in all aspects of athletics. This includes areas of both physical and mental/cognitive development.

In order to continue to develop our student-athletes into well rounded players in all areas of the game, a variety of training equipment is necessary.

To effectively communicate our plays and calls into our players, we utilize Wrist Coaches where a color and number is called and players see what their exact assignment is on any given play. This allows our players to focus on performance and effort rather than the stress of memorizing every play and what they need to do on each one.

A kicking net, kicking tee, and catching aids will help players to continue to development basic techniques of the skills required to play the game. Whiteboard allows players to learn and make in-game adjustments and strategies. In addition to playing at a high level is staying hydrated and safe through new water bottles and mouth pieces that would be provided to players.

Our athletes are required to dedicate themselves to a year round training program in order to prepare for the season. Our jobs as their coaches to continue to develop and teach them to become better players and students. Providing them the opportunities to develop themselves in all areas of the game, will ultimately teach them how to become successful at something in life and develop and carry out a plan of action.
