This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are actively engaged in creating artwork to display in our classroom. They think outside the box and very tech-savvy. Nearly all students come from low‑income households, and many students in my classroom come in saying that they do not have any art skills but with the right techniques, they are completing their projects is NO PROBLEM.

Where there's a will there's a way!

My students are able to overcome any obstacle they are faced with, and I would love to show them that I appreciate them for always pushing forward.

My Project

This school year I have set a goal to integrate technology in my Art classroom. I want to transform it into something incredible. This apple pencil will give myself the opportunity to create detailed digital artwork examples so students can follow along and utilize the same apple pencil as well. I would love for my students to experience creating not only a traditional artwork but digital artwork as well. This Apple pencil will enable my students to render drawings using different medium styles such as pen, pencil, paintbrush, and even a pastel texture. This can be an all in one medium !
