My students need track spikes for this year. The Track and Field Team needs new equipment. Each student will get a new pair of shoes so they can do their very best.

My Students

Neches is a small school in a rural area. Funding for athletic programs is very limited. The popularity of the track program at Neches is up and coming. There are far more participants than this year than in the past and the current equipment is severely outdated.

I have a very talented group of girls coming out for track this year!

The Freshmen group specifically, won multiple track meets in Junior High. These girls are the hardest working, most driven group of girls I've ever had the privilege to coach. Their hearts are 100% committed to everything they do. They always aim for success and I want to help them reach their potential.

My Project

By granting these student-athletes with new track spikes they will be given a better opportunity to compete to the best of their abilities. They will be able to wear these shoes and look like a team at track meets. The current track spikes the school owns are severely outdated so new ones would help ensure the safety or my runners.

These girls love to compete and I want to give them every opportunity to do so!

These new shoes would be one less worry for the school and team to think about. Track could be considered a dying sport and these girls are bringing it back here at Neches!
