Help me give my students socialize through play! With the pressures of testing and keeping up children have no time to play. The teachers are offering up their lunches to allow our students to play and socialize!
Our class is amazing! We are a first-grade inclusion class. Our students are now deep into the first grade experience and, while we are trying to make things exciting, we lack the supplies in order to do so.
These students come from many countries from all over the world!
Many of the parents in our school do not speak English, and these children are first-generation Americans. There are many diverse learners in the classroom. These students are amazing and come to school every single day eager to learn!
My Project
What our students need is time for socializing and playing. We are asking for several toys in order to do this.
With testing and the pressure to keep up with goals, teachers and students find no time to learn through playing and socializing.
We are trying to create whole children. Children whom are academically smart as well as emotionally and socially smart.
We do not mind giving up our lunches and preps to see our students have fun, together. It is so important to us to create these whole children.
Please, please support us in our goal! No more iPads or computers to entertain our children. Let's focus on the imagination again!
