I love teaching! I work hard to help my students excel in all areas of life, not only academic, but personal as well. Third grade is such an important year for many students and I try my best to make the year exciting and engaging. We do many fun projects and work with foundational curriculum.
My students are wonderful young people who enjoy learning, collaborating, and creating.
They love school and are always up for a challenge. We work hard everyday to learn new things and become the best that we can be!
My Project
The materials and supplies I am requesting will be used in a unit called Toy Box Science. Some of the supplies necessary for our experiments are things such as film canisters, tape, glue, nails, and test tubes. Students will be given an opportunity to create their very own science "toy box". Throughout the school year, we will investigate and experiment with various scientific concepts such as physics and chemistry. Examples from these experiments will be added to their toy boxes.
Providing opportunities for scientific inquiry are essential to encourage exploration and discovery.
Students become exceptional learners when they are able to manipulate the environment around them. By providing opportunities to investigate problems, search for solutions, and make observations students are able to stretch their thinking and create new understandings.
