My Students

Dr. Seuss said, "It's better to know how to learn than to know." Educators have an awesome responsibility to instill a love of learning.

Each day my room is filled with twenty-one Pre-K students that come to school eager to learn and explore this great big world.

They are a vibrant community of learners. They love to sing and dance. They love to color and count. They are illustrators and authors.

Our school is located in a small town in rural Oklahoma. We are a Title I school with just under 40% of our students qualifying for free and reduced-price lunches.

My Project

We're taking sensory play to another level with the light table sensory play materials! The light table sensory play materials I have requested are designed to illuminate on light tables. The translucent materials include beads, rings, and balls, each with their own unique texture. The large tub keeps everything in one place!

Children love to explore through touch.

The light sensory play materials will be the perfect addition to our classroom. Additionally, an added bonus is that they're all washable!

Children have the opportunity to explore light and color hands-on. Learning, and especially explorative learning has never been so much fun for the Early Childhood student.
