My Students

My four year old students race into my classroom everyday with smiles on their faces ready to start their day. This puts a smile on my face as well. It's a joy watching their enthusiasm to have fun, explore, socialize and eager to learn.

I teach in a Title I school in Queens, NY.

My children receive free breakfast and lunch each day.

I have a large ESL population of students who have come from all over the world. They hold the American dream, but need the tools and supplies to achieve this.

My Project

My students use different materials every day in school to learn and explore. Everyone needs a safe place to start learning and new tables will give my students a special area to explore.

Students in Pre-K write, explore, read, build, socialize, eat and create at tables.

New tables will create a safe hub for them to explore and interact with their classmates. Our current tables are worn, old and unsafe. They are difficult to clean and our children need to be in a safe, clean and free of germs. I know new tables will make a huge impact on the quality of learning in my classroom.
