Help me give my students a Chromebook to use for projects.
This project expired on February 4, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My Jr. High students live in a small rural town in Missouri that doesn't have as much access to technology as some of the bigger districts. Many of the students live on farms and enjoy playing sports as well as participate in FFA. They are eager to learn and love to use technology. However, we do not have any computers that are also touch screen and functions as a tablet As a science teacher, it would be extremely beneficial to have a touchscreen Chromebook available for my students to use.
My students could use the Touch Screen Computer to design Biomes or create a habitat or create a project on gravity.
If they had the opportunity to use a Touchscreen Chromebook to make a cutting edge project then they would learn so much more about science and have fun while they were learning. Thanks!
We often do projects in Middle School Science, such as design Biomes or create a habitat or create a project on gravity. We have a few laptops to use but we would like to have a Touch Screen Chromebook that doubles as a tablet too. It would be nice to have one for the students to make some modern projects that are technology based. I can let different groups check it out to do creative projects like the commercial you see on TV about students having fun making a project about gravity. It will allow me to add another dimension to my teaching which will in turn, add another way for students to learn in a fun way.
