This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Even with hardships and struggles, our students are so hardworking that they moved this school into a place of national recognition! In January 2016, our school was named a National Title I school.

Our student population is diverse in age (3 through 14+), ethnicity, interests, and background.

They are problem solvers, multi-talented, and very caring for one another. These students have a bond much like a family. It's a beautiful honor to work with children that are so adaptable, understanding, and have a drive to learn. They're true scholars!

My Project

Our students need a refill of their art supplies, and ordering them has exhausted my funds for the year. What we do not have are BAGS to put the supplies into for pick up!

To send supplies home for more enriching art making, now we need tote bags!

These bags are durable and will be helpful for all students, especially those who move from different locations during the week.

Thank you for your support! Virtual learning has been a lot of changes and your help with this will make it a little easier (and more efficient) to learn art at home!
