My Project

In my unique classroom, our students rotate through stations. One station in our class is task boxes.

The task box station allows students to develop independence by following a visual schedule to complete their assigned tasks.

Each student has specific tasks that they need to complete each day.

The shape sorting cupcakes will allow students to use fine motor skills to sort shapes and colors. The On the Go Elmo will allow students to practice letter recognition. The counting caterpillar will provide students the opportunity to practice number recognition as well as counting to ten. The burger stacking item will allow students to practice following a visual recipe. The learning pad will allow students to practice navigating a device, choice-making as well as several key academic skills.
