Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing artists; creative, imaginative, and unstoppable. I am constantly amazed by the work they produce. Working with them is a joy! Recently our school was devastated by a tornado. We are doing our best to recuperate from this natural disaster. We are in need of everything from basic supplies like chairs and cleaning supplies, to very specific needs like printer ink, paintbrushes, and more technology. Thank you for your help and attention. It is really appreciated. Thanks!
My Project
We have recently been devastated by a natural disaster. Our school was destroyed in October. We are still trying to recover from the event. We will use these materials and supplies to create art projects as well as go about the day to day business of learning and having fun. The craft scissors will be used for students personal artwork. The ink will be used for the art students and art teacher to print images for their individual and group projects, as well as print research about artists and art movements. The books will serve the same purpose in the classroom, as well, as be part of an inspiration corner for students to get ideas for their projects. Thank you for helping us out!
