Fourth grade is always an adventure! We never know where our learning will take us. In our room, we're always looking for ways to meet the learning styles of kinesthetic, visual, audio, and logical learning. By the end of the school year, I want my students to see the value of learning something new.
Our class is made up of 25 kind, creative students who are eager to learn new material.

My Project
My students love to collaborate. For my project, I am asking for eight diamond-shaped desks. These desks are designed for classrooms that will help students succeed in the 21st century. Each day, we use collaborative learning curriculum. Collaborative learning is student-centered and my fourth graders are an active participant in their learning process. With these desks, my students will work in pods that will allow them optimal student interaction.

10. When students are grouped in pods, they have their peers at their fingertips and can have discussions on science topics such as insect pollination and the pros and cons of farmers finding grasshoppers in their fields.
