This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My 6th-grade math scholars are fantastic! We have been working hard on learning how to divide decimals and solve word problems and ratio problems. As their math teacher, I want to celebrate their wins by giving prizes to 10 scholars with the highest math grades by the end of this second trimester.
Morehouse is my 6th-grade math class. These scholars have been doing excellent work throughout the year using CUBS, keys, and organized work to answer graphing and proportion problems this trimester. I will be rewarding the scholars with the top 10 math grades in class. It is important to maintain that B or A from the first trimester or even improve to earn high grades this second trimester. I have high expectations of them and I am excited to celebrate their fantastic grades by rewarding them with gift cards. Thank you!!
